news

Insurance Times, 29 September 2009For nearly two years to November 2010, I wrote early morning web news for Insurance Times, between 6am and 8am every week day.

I often posted five or six stories in those two hours, and sometimes as many as nine. That news also appeared on the websites of sister titles Global Reinsurance and Strategic Risk.

In 2012, I worked in Post Magazine’s office at 8am three days a week writing news.

I have also written news stories for The Guardian, The Standard and the FT, as well as for many business-to-business (B2B) magazines.

Tomorrow’s chip wrapper

Today’s news is tomorrow’s fish and chip wrapper, was the old phrase, before health and safety offices insisted newsprint was too dangerous to be that close to such healthy food.
